Mr. Noda is in charge of intellectual property matters generally at Matsuda & Partners. He is handling registration work of trademarks, industrial designs, patents and other industrial property rights, attending claims for infringement on copyright and other intellectual property rights, and supporting clients on other IP related matters.
After his career at a manufacturing company in Japan, Mr. Noda had engaged in matters in the area of intellectual property at a patent firm in Tokyo from 2004, while authoring legal articles and giving lectures as described below and holding positions at JPAA such as the chair of the copyright committee. In 2007, he has obtained a license of "Additional Indication of Specific Infringement Litigation Representation Work" where he is permitted to represent a client jointly with a law attorney in infringement litigation involving trademark, patent and other IP rights.
