Mr. Takagaki’s practice covers various areas of law involving overseas and domestic transactions.  Mr. Takagaki represents clients in wide range of commercial transactions including real estate transactions and provides legal advice in broad area of law including trust and tax laws.  Mr. Takagaki also handles various litigation and arbitration cases concerning commercial and employment disputes.  Further, Mr. Takagaki has strength in Indian practice advising clients in their investments and start-ups in India.

Mr. Takagaki was qualified as a Japanese lawyer in 2005.  Before joining Matsuda & Partners in 2008, he worked at a renowned tax and maritime law firm in Japan and was engaged in tax litigations (including national tax tribunal cases) and commercial litigations as well as general corporate matters.  Mr. Takagaki also has experience working at KNM & Partners, Law Offices in Delhi, India as an intern for one year during which he was exposed to various Indian transactions and Indian legal practice.
