Mr. Nishimura's primary focus is in intellectual property and corporate transactions. He obtained his patent attorney qualification while he was working at a patent firm being engaged in various assignments related to IP registration. Thereafter, Mr. Nishimura obtained his law attorney license leading to his current practice of assisting clients in utilization of IP rights and resolving IP disputes as well as registration of IP rights based on his rich experience and background of IP related fields.
In 1995, Mr. Nishimura graduated from Waseda University, Department of Mechanical Engineering and, in 1997, finished his master degree at Department of Applied Mechanics of the same university. After being registered as a patent attorney in 1999, he completed his law degree at Waseda Law School in 2007, and become registered as a law attorney in 2008.
At the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, Mr. Nishimura, as an assistant manager of the Intellectual Property Evaluation Promotion Center, attends issues and queries referred to the Center from public institutions and private companies and also exerting efforts to make the IP evaluation gain more popularity.
