Mr. Kubo handles overseas transactions as well as domestic matters at Matsuda & Partners.
Before joining Matsuda & Partners in 2012, he worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and was involved in various M&A transactions, commercial and employment litigations and general corporate matters. He also has experience as an in-house lawyer at the legal department of a leading Japanese trading company for more than 1.5 years gaining in-depth knowledge and skills concerning investments in emerging markets.
Mr. Kubo was qualified as a Japanese lawyer in 2005 and also completed his LL.M. program at University of Pennsylvania Law School and Business and Law Certificate program at University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in 2012.
